Set in a quiet and idyllic location in the middle of the Normandy countryside, away from prying eyes, the Gite Nivard is a large charming house renovated in 2019 and 2023. Roomy and with a substantial outdoor space, the house is ideal for a few days away with a large family group or friends, without feeling cramped! A great base for exploring the surrounding area; located just 15 minutes from all the main shops, 20 minutes from Normandy’s beautiful beaches, and 35 minutes from the infamous Mont St Michel.
Kitchens
The gite possesses two fully equipped kitchens, including gas hobs, 2 fridges with a freezer compartment, 2 ovens, a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, including all the crockery and cooking utensils needed for a large group.
Dining room
The dining room is the heart of the gite. The room is large enough that the tables can be moved around, rearranged into one long table, comfortably seating the whole group at the same time.
Bedrooms
In total, the gite has 7 bedrooms, 3 of which are located on the ground floor. The gite can sleep up to 27 people, but please note we can accept a maximum of 14 adults, seeing as the top of the bunk beds are not suitable for adults or older teenagers. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, apart from bedroom 5 and 6 which share a bathroom.

Bedroom 2 : “les champignons” (first floor) – 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed.
Bedroom 3 : “les rivières” (ground floor) – 1 double bed.
Bedroom 4 : “les sapins” (ground floor) – 3 bunk beds.
Bedroom 5 : “les ruisseaux” (first floor) – 3 single beds.
Bedroom 6 : “les chênes” (first floor) – 3 single beds.
Bedroom 7 : “les baies” (ground floor) – 3 bunk beds.
Towels and bedding are not included, so please bring your own, or ask us to include this in the price: bedding 8€ per bed.
